<06> Published in the authoritative Journal of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI), the work reported in this paper was carried out in collaboration with the Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organisation. It was the first attempt to solve the challenges of year-round satellite communication service provision in a monsoon climate and resulted in an accepted new technique of seasonal link budget, with satellite coverage delivered through global, regional or spot beams depending on time of year.
