Additional information

<05> This paper presents one important outcome of the research project running from 2003-2010 on performance evaluation of 3GPP based wireless networks. The research reported was the foundation for a long-term consultancy for Malaysian TeleKom R&D where Prof. Al-Begain led the creation of a multi air interface planning tool for the Malaysian Telekom deployment of 3G and 3.5G systems in the existence of 2G networks. This work was also the subject of an expert witness contract for Prof. Al-Begain for Wragge&Co IP Law Firm in London on the high profile Nokia versus Interdigital IP court case on 3G patent infringement.
