<28> This paper is the culmination of a research thread on improving the accuracy of needle biopsy classification for the detection of prostate tumours. The team's multispectral imaging method discriminated between various levels of malignancy, however the high dimensionality data generated by the method and the error rate remained significant challenges. These issues are addressed in this paper by using Round-Robin sequential forward selection algorithm for feature selection which is shown to yield over 99% accuracy on real biopsy data.
