This was the first time with the author developed multi-dimensional correlation functions had been presented for neural network and the other complex nonlinear dynamic model validation. This was the cover paper with the prestigious journal in the 1st issue in 2009. The validation tests led to a successful grant application called “Research on whole process economic evaluation model for CO2 purified capture, transportation, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and sequestration”, reference UPCQY2012-01-77, funded by the China Ministry of Science and Technology. Furthermore the impact of the results has promoted research collaboration with Brazil, China and Japan.
