Additional information

Xon de Ros invited Hazbun to collaborate with her at the point where the Companion was deemed to merit two volumes and to extend to the medieval and early modern periods. Hazbun commissioned and edited all ten essays in Part I, and authored a chapter on ‘Female Foundations in the Libro de Alexandre and Poema de Fernán González’. Dr de Ros commissioned and edited all 11 essays in Part II, authored one chapter: ‘The Mother and the Nation: Reading Contemporary Women’s Writers’, and oversaw the general introduction, in which each editor authored a bibliographical survey for their respective periods.
