This area of research is of considerably interest, with key work from J Bond (U of Leicester) noted as one of the top 50 inventions in 2008 (Time Magazine). Our work concluded that a different mechanism may apply to the one proposed by Bond, and our suggested mechanism was subsequently confirmed by Bond. We have also provided on request practical details to a Netherlands forensic lab.
