Additional information

The first author on this paper is a collaborator from AstraZeneca UK (james.yates@astrazeneca.com), demonstrating the strong collaborative links with the company. It provides the first truly general analytical technique for performing structural identifiability analysis that could be applied to models involving partial differential equations. This work contributes to AZ UK’s work on the reduction of animals in scientific experiments.
