Collaboration with groups in Cambridge and Southampton to fabricate appropriate structures in which to study spin transport in Ge. This first report of spin transport in Ge led to a £2M EPSRC grant (EP/J003263/1, EP/J003638/1, EP/J002968/1) between the three groups, which started in March 2012 with Leadley as overall PI.
