Additional information

This collaborative work with Prof. Eisenberg (Chicago, USA) and Lancaster group has suggested a new mechanism of enhanced conduction in ion channels via self-organization that differs from the standard knock-on mechanism. This result forms a basis for a joint collaborative research proposal (Warwick-Lancaster-Chicago, Khovanov is PI of Warwick group) submitted to EPSRC (title: Physical origins of selectivity in biological ion channels)
