Cold immersion recovery responses in the diabetic foot with neuropathy

Bharara was recruited as a PhD student to further investigate diagnostic assessment techniques arising from EPSRC First Grant funded research (GR/S07322/01) secured by Cobb. This led to the development of a full-field thermal measurement technique clinically evaluated through international collaboration with Viswanathan at the Diabetes Research Centre, Chennai, India. On successful completion of his PhD Bharara was recruited by the American Podiatric surgeon Dr David G. Armstrong (http://surgery.arizona.edu/faculty-profile/david-g-armstrong-dpm-md-phd), Professor of Surgery at the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance, where he continues to build on this work (http://surgery.arizona.edu/faculty-profile/manish-bharara-phd).
