This is the text of a letter from Norm Hirschy, Editor, OUP New York: 'I am delighted to confirm herewith that your book Gestures of Musical Theater is scheduled for release on 27 November 2013. E-commerce web pages may add on a bit to allow stock to ship through distribution centers. Even so, the book becomes formally available to the public on 27 November 2013.' The original of this letter is avilable for audit if needed.
Taylor worked with Dr Dominic Symonds on the development and framing of the proposal for this collection, commissioning and editing of chapters. They jointly wrote all the editorial sections of the book (Introduction, 6 editorial introductions entitled ‘Performativity as…’ and an Epilogue. The editorials are designed to make thematic links through the collections so that it reveals a single research focus on issues of performativity. Taylor also contributed the final chapter to the collection ‘Singing and Dancing Ourselves: The Performativity of A Chorus Line’.
