<22>This paper introduces a new theory: Fuzzy Qualitative Trigonometry [FQT], into Fuzzy Qualitative Reasoning, and better enables the application of Qualitative Reasoning methods to kinematic problems and dynamic systems containing trigonometric relations (doi: 10.1142/S021848851100709X). This work develops (by providing a fuller analysis) research initially reported in conferences in 2005. The theory in this paper is rigorously verified by means of proof and implementation, demonstrating its usefulness. Because model-based robotics requires a means of representing trigonometric relation, the work has facilitated research such as [Coghill 2].
