Additional information

The paper describes a new MR-acquisition technique to obtain 4D flow data. The technique avoids an additional navigator sequence, which improves the temporal resolution and quality of the scan. The technique has been applied in further clinical studies of patients with congenital heart disease (Valverde et al. Pediatr Cardiol. 2010) and aortic dissection (Clough et al. J Vasc Surg. 2012).
