A new way to describe the transition characteristics of a rotating-disk boundary-layer flow
This paper was the second most read Physics of Fluids article in the month of publication (http://pof.aip.org/features/most_downloaded?month=3&year=2012). This work contributed towards an invited presentation at the 100-Year-Aachen-Fluid-Mechanics Workshop (June 2012) resulting in a EUR J MECH B-FLUID review article (40:17-29, 2013, http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.euromechflu.2013.01.001), currently (July 2013) it is the second most downloaded paper of the last 90 days. This work contributed towards an invited book chapter (with PH Alfredsson): "Modeling Atmospheric and Oceanic Fluid Flows: insights from laboratory experiments", ed. T von Larcher (ID_in_audit_file@math.fu-berlin.de), AGU Books, in press.
