Additional information

This research was developed in collaboration with, and funded by ($50k), Huntsville Utilities USA to design and implement an FRP composite strengthening technique for utility poles within electrical distribution systems. The project has been highly successful at extending pole life, by at least 10 years, and is now being implemented in Alabama.
