Double-weighted statement

This book represents a wide-ranging analysis of the legal basis of transnational criminal law, particularly relating to organised crime. It has required the development of the author’s expertise across disciplines, and draws on several years of scholarly work to establish a new field. Further investment in time and resource has come from the author’s qualitative research with the hard to reach law enforcement community in Thailand, Serbia and Kosovo. This extensive investment has supported the development of a novel and sustained critique of the national implementation of international standards, the scale of which is comparable to two outputs.
