Additional information

<24> This paper proposed novel intransitivity measures and a new co-evolutionary algorithm, whose effectiveness was demonstrated by evolving one of the strongest known value functions for Othello of the chosen type. The paper was closely related to Lucas’s IEEE CEC 2010 Keynote Talk, and led to a Runarsson and Lucas paper that was nominated for a best paper award at IEEE CIG 2012.
