Double-weighted statement

This book required a several-year observant participation and an analysis of historical archives. The archival analysis was of letters to and from Australia 1835-1858 and required visits to several archives in Australia and the identification of appropriate correspondence. The observant participation was of online games requiring immersion in as well as research across several games necessitating years of work, varied sources were collected including when online films and chat logs and offline in interviews and group discussion. This material required a complex theoretical framework to reconcile the different methodologies which necessitated generation of a relevant theory of communicative practice.
