<06>This provides an original rigorous analytical model and a fast algorithm for delay-sensitive real-time live video streaming over wireless LANs. Comprehensive performance simulations are presented under realistic conditions: this proves the close match of the model to practical scenarios. Improving the quality of highly on-demand real-time video applications over wireless networks is shown; hence the original methods of this work can be taken up by industry and/or in WiFi standards. This work exploits the expertise of UCLA on video processing and KCL’s strength in wireless communications.
