Additional information
<20> This work contributes novel text-entry designs using tilt gestures for accelerometer-only input on mobile devices. The designs are grounded in rigorous study of the human, technical, and interface design considerations. The insights are timely and important given the rapid increase in handheld devices with accelerometers (TV remotes, game controllers, mobile phones) and the ever-present need for text-entry. Published in CHI, the most prestigious venue for HCI research, as one of 302 papers accepted from 1346 submissions.
