Additional information

This new approach to tracking visual objects which learns about object appearance on the fly - as it tracks - outperforms competing techniques in challenging scenarios. The initial work was ranked as one of the best papers for BMVC and invited for journal publication in one of the top journals in the field, IJCV. The process of online learning during tracking has gained considerable momentum, having helped form the basis of many modern tracking approaches (TLD) and the linear predictor mechanism has led to £1M of government contract research.
