Additional information

<20> This paper was published at ACM CHI'10 (acceptance rate 22%). The work's claims to originality reside in the fact that it was the first ever analysis of the problem of developing interaction techniques for usable authentication at public multitouch interactive surfaces. The paper not only produced the first set of design considerations for attack-resistant means of authentication for communal spaces, but introduced and evaluated a set of five completely novel designs for multi-touch authentication; one of which is the subject of UK patent GB2476822.
