It describes Finger, an efficient policy-based management system for mote

class sensors and actuators consolidating and extending the authors'

previous work on Self-Managed Cells, the Ponder2 system as well as work presented at PervasiveHealth'09, PerCom'09, ICPADS'08 and

MASS'08. The PHD first author is now an associate professor at SJTU, China

leading a group on wireless and mobile networks.
