Additional information

After the downfall of Iron Curtain and Berlin Wall, the USA proposed an interceptive ballistic missile system for Poland and the Czech Republic. The purpose of this research was to investigate people's responses to this plan. On the basis of this research, the suggestion was made to the United States government not to pursue this policy. Survey results were requested by the leadership of West Point Military Academy, and results were disseminated to military leaders in the United States.
