Exhibiting Cinema in Contemporary Art

This book meets the first four of the criteria for double weighting. It takes a two-pronged approach, offering an historical overview of the interactions between cinema and the museum during a twenty-year period and a theoretical intervention into contemporary debates on cinema after digitization. The production of this text involved an extensive review of exhibition history, critical literature, and artistic practice. The research took place over a 5-year period and involved travel to New York, Venice, Paris, London, and Berlin.
