Additional information

This is the first rigorous theoretical examination of the electron dynamical processes for the high efficient 3rd generation solar cells called: intermediate band solar cell (IBSC). The paper attracted substantial interest because its importance for the SC and novel structure of semiconductor QD arrays. Visibility of this paper directly caused: 1) collaboration with the Polytechnic University Madrid and invitation to write book chapter in Next Generation of Photovoltaics (Springer, Berlin 2012) 2) research grant from NEDO Japan (£91.000 for April 2012- April 2014) on design and modelling of semiconductor QD for the high efficiency SC.
