Additional information

<05>This paper studied the effectiveness of Cyclic Delay Diversity (CDD) transmit diversity in improving the reception and quality of service (QoS) of DVB-H networks in poor coverage areas such as sparsely populated and obscured locations. We built a simulation model which allowed comprehensive performance studies of CDD with various transmission power capabilities, number of infrastructure elements, antenna height and frequency reuse factors over indoor and outdoor environments. This unique work was developed as part of EU IST-PLUTO STREP to support various measurement campaigns as described in Output 2. The paper was published in IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting with an Impact Factor of 2.08 ranked top-10 in telecommunications journals.
