<20> Systematic examination of usability factors and their interrelationships is a prerequisite for usability evaluation of mobile phones. As most of the earlier studies examined them empirically, it was not easy to generalize them. However, this study proposed a new model for identifying and classifying them and a new practical method for analytically evaluating the usability of mobile phones. The proposed model and method were used as a reference for usability evaluation in LG Electronics. This paper is one of the ten most downloaded articles in the journal. This paper is the result of a project funded by LG Electronics.
