Identity and Roma Families: teacher's perspective and engagement with INSETRom training
Davies and Gilligan (formerly Szymanski) are heavily work loaded, leading programs, courses and modules whilst completing part-time PhDs throughout the REF period in addition to other research projects. Gilligan has completed her amendments ( Nov 1st 2013) and Davies will submit in 2014. Additionally, given the pressures in ITE of staffing, OFSTED and educational policy changes during this period, it is an achievement to produce full publications in addition to many conference presentations and other research responsibilities as well. They jointly wrote this paper with Crozier after collaborating on a substantial European project on the education of ROMA children.
