Additional information

This paper, funded as GR/T25446/01 (£450k), introduced Multiple-PEPT, a new technique to track several particles simultaneously inside a thick-walled vessel enabling reconstruction of rotational and translational motion of solids in the vessel. Thus the technique overcomes the significant limitation in single-particle PEPT. It has been applied internationally to food research UK, DoI/10.3970/cmes.2010.059.217); chemical engineering China, DoI: 10.1515/1542-6580.3091, DoI: 10.1002/aic.12376; metallurgy Australia, DoI: 10.1016/j.apt.2012.10.011); pharmaceutical production GSK and UK, DoI: 10.1016/j.ijpharm.2013.01.030.
