On the reflection of coupled Rayleigh-like waves at surface defects in plates
The research was supported by a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF grant PBEZ2-114186) and has led to follow on funding (HES SO Applied Sciences Western Switzerland SAGE-X: 27116) for an international collaboration with Prof. B. Masserey at EIA-FR Fribourg, Switzerland (Bernard.Masserey@hefr.ch) and Prof. J. Reymondin at HEIG-VD Yverdon, Switzerland (jean-pascal.reymondin@heig-vd.ch). The paper was published in a leading journal in the field and received outstanding reviewer comments ”This paper makes a significant contribution in both understanding the phenomenon of coupled Rayleigh-like waves and exploring their potential use for detecting damage. Overall it is an excellent paper” (jasa@aip.org).
