Additional information

The stylus-based calibration algorithms described in this article formed a key part of the system licensed to MedaPhor Limited (CTO Nicholas Sleep, ID_in_audit_file@medaphor.com) in January 2011. It was used to build an accurate three-dimensional ultrasound atlas for their clinical training system. Nicholas Sleep says: "Stradwin was fundamental to Medaphor's ability to acquire accurate data from multiple patients". He also states that "the software has proved to be a flexible platform that has significantly benefited the company; Medaphor could not have achieved their current success without it".
