Additional information

The work in this paper has led to a plenary address at IEEE Machine Learning for Signal Processing (MLSP) (Sept 2013), and an invited talk at Warwick CRiSM Workshop on MCMC (March 16-20 2009). It is precursor to many current probabilistic methods for tracking of dynamic group objects over time from partial and cluttered observations, e.g. work of M. Mihaylova's group at Lancaster and W. Koch's group at Fraunhoffer Inst. Germany. It has also led directly to a newly announced EPSRC grant EP/K020153/1 for GBP437k, PI Godsill with QinetiQ as industrial partner (contact D.J. Salmond, ID_in_audit_file@qinetiq.com).
