Additional information

The approach presented in this paper was used by London Underground Ltd (LUL) to assess data quality within information systems for the ‘Signalling, Control and Information Asset Group’ for one of the main underground lines. LUL now have a clear indication of the most critical data problems that need to be addressed to ensure effective decision making. Contact Mr Richard Pease (ID_in_audit_file@tfl.gov.uk), LUL Signalling, Control and Information asset group manager. This work also helped Parlikad win a GBP29K award from the EPSRC KT-BOX project (EP/H500200/1) to build and industrially trial a tool to assess the impact of poor data quality.
