Additional information

This paper describes work carried out by Li as a PhD candidate investigating the cyclic behaviour of piles. The work described here together with a wider body of work carried out in Cambridge was instrumental in Haigh receiving GBP137k funding from Giken Seisakusho (ID_in_audit_file@giken.com) to pay a scholarship for Francesca Burali d'Arezzo to investigate the dynamics of pile installation. The work also led to EPSRC funding for Madabhushi & Haigh to investigate cyclic loading of monopile foundations for wind turbines (grant reference EP/H013857/1)
