Additional information

This novel theoretical approach to understand patterns of cell movements in vivo and in vitro led to invitations to conferences and workshops (including at the Mathematishes Forschungsintitute Oberwolfach). A figure of the paper has been included in a recent review of the subject (doi:10.1186/2194-3206-1-4) by independent authors. Several collaborations have been initiated following this study, some of which have already led to high profile journal publications (PNAS 109:12974-12979, 2012). The author of the paper has received an invitation as visiting professor at the National University of Singapore to explore further applications of the work, contact: Prof Benoit Ladoux, ID_in_audit_file@nus.edu.sg.
