Additional information

This research collaboration with UNINOVA, Portugal, demonstrated the layering of CMOS circuits on paper; a significant step towards green (low cost, low power, recyclable) electronics. It led to a GBP500k research program (Apr 2013-Mar 2015) with Guangdong Danbond Technology Co (RG69191-NM2D/209) on flexible oxide TFTs, including a collaboration with Prof. Gerhard Troester, ETH Zurich on flexible electronics for smart textiles. Led to Nathan being invited to author substantial (32-page) review on flexible electronics in the centennial celebration issue of Proc IEEE (May 2012) and a number of invited and distinguished IEEE lectures (IEEE-DL/Ryerson2012,IEEE Sensors2012, MPA2012, IEEE-DL/UBC2013, ULSIvsTFT 2013, ESSIRC2013).
