Additional information

The results and the methodology developed as the result of this study are implemented and used in Rolls-Royce’s fan noise design system for noise predictions and designs of the company's current and next generation engines. (Dr Nick Humphreys, ID_in_audit_file@rolls-royce.com) The knowledge base and the methodology developed have also been used as enabling tools in TSB project SYMPHONY and EU Framework 7 Project OPENAIR (total grant value to Cambridge GBP194k). They also form part of background IP for the successful bid for TSB project HARMONY more recently (grant to Cambridge GBP510k).
