Sustainable food planning: evolving theory and practice
This edited collection of research papers is the first to bring together expertise from planning, food science, design, public policy, health and governance to address the global challenges of food security facing both the developed and developing countries. It comprises 45 refereed contributions, and developed from a series of four international, multidisciplinary conferences supported by the Sustainable Food Planning Group of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP). Viljoen, co-editor with Professor J.S.C. Wiskerke (University of Wageningen), contributed to the introduction, authored a contextual chapter on Planning and Design, and a chapter on Continuous Productive Urban Landscapes (CPULs).
