Additional information

Co-authored book chapter. Hughes was asked by the editors of the volume (Kershaw, Nicholson) to contribute a chapter on research methods in applied theatre, and was encouraged to seek additional contributors to ensure that a range of experiences were represented. Hughes secured case study contributions from Kidd and McNamara, which are separately credited within the chapter. She also wrote a case study of her own, and wrote the introduction, contextualisation and concluding sections. Hughes developed the overall argument for the chapter, in conversation with the other contributors. The distribution of responsibilities can be characterised as: Hughes 50%, Kidd and McNamara 25% each
