This output is a series of three interrelated exhibitions of contemporary furniture makers, which I curated on behalf of the Crafts Study Centre and the Ruthin Craft Centre, Wales, 2010–2012. David Colwell, Fred Baier, and Richard La Trobe-Bateman, three prolific contemporary furniture makers, were invited to work with me on the curation of three sequential exhibitions that were in part monographic presentations of their work and oeuvre, and in part exposition of their individual working methods, approaches and preoccupations. The exhibitions were developed conceptually in collaboration with each of the three makers but all three participated in the dialogue of the series by contributing to each of three accompanying exhibitions publications, which I edited.

This was the first commissioning partnership between the Craft Study Centre and the Ruthin Craft Centre and attracted 54,252 visitors in total.
