Treffers-Daller was the lead editor of this special issue. The main aim was to bring together recent work into lexical aspects of French as a second language, which had not been covered in other recent volumes on L2 French. Treffers-Daller put the proposal together for the Editors of JFLS, approached the authors for contributions, led the review process, wrote the introduction and contributed one article to the SI. She did 80% of the work on this. The co-editors' role was to help with the reviewing process (20%).
