Additional information

This paper demonstrates the use of target tracking techniques for the estimation of the equation of state for a complex/dusty plasma, revealing new physics and showing that existing methods produce biased results that hide the new physics. This paper was an experimental-theoretical collaboration and funded by an EPSRC grant EP/G007918.
