    Additional information
Sporton was commissioned by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, in 2010 to create a work for the decommissioning of Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham (£5k). It was initiated as part of a change management programme for staff and the public. The resulting work ‘The Watertower’, was an installation at the Hospital that combined a computer games engine and a HUD with oral histories from staff and patients to tell the story of the old Hospital and look forward to the future. This work was the subject of a chapter in the book ‘Museums at Play’ (Sporton & Makiola, 2011).
