Additional information
The value of this output is in the development and application of a novel methodology for the minimisation, at the initial design stage, of environmental and economic impacts of Wastes from Electric and Electronic (WEEE) products at end-of-life (EOL). The recovery of WEEE at EOL is a critical aspect for all electr(on)ic organisations and the EU has issued legislation to minimise the environmental impact of WEEE. The methodology was successfully tested by the Italian company ACI Farfisa (contact Ennio Sgreccia, e.sgreccia@acifarfisa.it).
