Double-weighted statement

This book is novel in its scope and interpretation of the current state of theorizing globalization and the global. It is interdisciplinary, both in the sense that it canvasses a very wide range of intellectual and disciplinary positions on the subject and advances a claim for critical globalization scholarship dependent on eroding disciplinary boundaries and usual social science in pursuit of a multidimensional theory of globality. Although there are other books in the market that offer insights into globalization theory, none demonstrate the same critique breadth and depth of engagement as this volume.
