<21> An invited seminar based on this paper was given at the HCI Institute, Carnagie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, on 2nd December 2009. The output of the paper has been applied in project (TIN2009-09687): Building Citizens Emergency Preparation and Response Capacity through Web 2.0 Tools, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The work represents an important contribution to the project introducing a novel prototype (the main output of the project) and an empirical and analytical evaluation of the prototype with users.
