Additional information

Mathematical models relating the mechanical properties of the granules to formulation variables were developed. The research methodology used in this paper has been transferred to another areas of particle technology research for example it has been applied to optimisation of granular fertiliser production process in our recent research project “Granular Fertiliser from Anaerobic Digestate Liquor (Greenius)” funded by Technology Strategy Board- Greenius Award – Grant No. 971283.
