Additional information

<29> The Collaborative Complex Learning Object (CC-LO), developed within the 2.2 million EU FP7 STREP project ALICE (FP7-ICT-2009-5-257639, http://www.aliceproject.eu), informed the pedagogical design and technical infrastructure of the "Intelligent Web Tutor" Learning Content Management System used in 550 Italian schools by 33,000 students. The model was used to guide development of serious games for evacuation training, leading to the direct procurement of follow-on commercial funding for the consortium worth over £30k. Technology developed and demonstrated in this paper has supported follow-on funding obtained by Coventry University Serious Games Institute for EU FP7 projects MASELTOV (€3.2M), MAGELLAN (€2.5M), and PEGASO (€2.5million).
