<29> This paper signals the beginning of a line of research that is important in revealing new and novel ways of learning within 3D environments. The research has been used in EU projects such as GALA (FP7-IST ICT, Technology Enhanced Learning, €5.6 million) and MASELTOV (FP7-ICT-7 No. 288587,€3.2M) by the Serious Games Institute, Coventry and other partners. The research has also been used in the DTI £2M Serious Games-Engaging Training Solutions (SG-ETS) project by industrial partners including Blitz Games Studios (Contact: Mr Richard Smithies, previously Chief Executive, RSmithies@BlitzGamesStudios.com).
